Tun Razak dream to see Malaysia as a more united, secure and prosperous country.

Some time in year 1968, our 2nd Prime Minister, late Tun Haji Abdul Razak, declared in Parliament that the Alliance government which administer Semenanjung , Sabah and Sarawak , uphold the philosophy of ‘a more united, secure and prosperous Malaysia’. He further deliberates that Alliance government will work vigorously to enable Malaysia to prosper. He also proposed to the government to undertake the following essential task to make make Malaysia a more united, secure and prosperous nation in future.

· The task of developing our country;
· The task of building a sound economic infrastructure with all the essentials for future
growth and prosperity by building a better school with better educational system;
· The task of building better hospitals and clinics, with a more efficient health service;
· The task of building better roads and opening up new land for greater output and greater
prosperity;
· Task of undertaking and implementing many hundreds of other projects;
When Malaysia was formed in year 1963, National Development and Prosperity is the promise Alliance Government gave to all Malaysians, including the Sabahans and Sarawakians.
Did the Alliance Government, now called as Barisan National Government fulfill their promise to all Malaysians made in year 1963?
The answer is YES.

Keeping Tun Razak's prophetic vision for the nation at the back of his mind, YAB Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak proposes his strategy dan plan to bring development and prosperity to Malaysia including Sarawak and Sabah. Infact, it is evident that Najib has been working closely with Sabah and Sarawk state leaders to make Sabah and Sarawak do not left behind in development but progress with the same pace with Semenanjung. Najib introduced the concept of NKRA in implementing national development programs.

· The National Key Result Area for Sarawak is focusing on programs to eradicate poverty and
increase the quality of life particularly, increase the income level of all Sarawakians, urban
and rural.
· The rural basic infrastructure will be improved , including efforts to increase the length of
roads to 21,250.5 km,
· Electricity supply coverage to 95%
· Water supply coverage to 90% by 2012.
· Compared to previous years, additional budget allocation – 1,100% more for rural roads,
700% additional water, and 500% electricity.
· The over all crime rate has been successfully reduced by 14.2% and street crime by 36.6%.
· An additional 54,569 children are benefiting from 1,358 new pre-school classes.
· All secondary and primary schools have been ranked and have all submitted individual
school improvement plans.
· Under rural basic infrastructure NKRA, 469km of rural roads have been completed, 1,664
low-cost houses built or renovated, 1,886 houses connected with electricity and 6,576
houses connected with clean or treated water.
· Under corruption NKRA, the Whistleblower Protection Act has been approved, 3,680
government contract awards have been published online as an initiative to increase
government transparency, a total of 520 arrests have been made, of which 178 have been
convicted of corruption.
· Under the low-income house-hold NKRA, hard-core household has been reduced by 40 %
and we are making progress.
· Sarawak GDP growth rate is 9.7% per annum since 2006.
Under the dedicated and inspired Malaysian prime ministers, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Mohd.Najib Tun Razak and Chief Minister Tan Sri Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud , Sarawak state has enjoyed a commendable economic growth and prosperity.
