Prime Minister Mohd. Najib Tun Abdul Razak urged Malaysians
to adopt a global mindset to face the
challenges ahead successfully. He
pointed out that Malaysia as a young nation has come a long way since independence .
Malaysia has transformed itself from an agricultural export country to an
industrial nation and leading towards to
become a high income nation by
2020. Malaysia's dynamic growth
has helped Malaysians to enjoy a
better quality of life. To sustain a continuous growth, he urged Malaysians to adopt a global mind set because we are now living in a
multidirectional , interdependent and hyperconnected world. But at the same time , he appealed to Malaysians not let go of the nation’s founding principles, religions and core values .
