The Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) formed by the Parliament has adopted most of the proposals put forward by the BERSIH 2.0, a movement engineered by opposition pact or PAKATAN. PSC consist of 9 parliament members , five from Barisan Nasional, three from the Opposition and one from independent. PSC is chaired by Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr. Maximus Ongkili, who is also representing Sabah and the Kadazan community.
The Barisan's four other committee members are :
1. Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi (Kapit) (representing Sarawak and the Iban community),
2.Datuk Seri Mohd. Radzi Sheikh Ahmad (Kangar),
3. Tan Sri Dr. Fong Chan Onn (Alor Gajah)
4. P. Kamalanathan (Hulu Selangor).
The 3 committee members from Opposition Pact (PAKATAN) are :
1.Azmin Ali PKR deputy president (Gombak),
2.Anthony Loke , DAP Youth chief (Rasah)
3.Dr. Hatta Ramli, PAS Election Director (Kuala Krai).
The members from independent is Wee Choo Keong (Wangsa Maju).
The PSC has worked tirelessly and formulated 22 recommendations to improve the electoral system in Malaysia in line with the BERSIH 2.0. proposalas. recommendations put forward by the PSC were approved unanimously by the Parliament, the highest legislative body representing the RAKYAT in Malaysia (A DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM) .
With this, why do some people now proposing to hold a gathering in Kuala Lumpur with their tag line BERSIH 3.0.?
Are they not happy with the recommendations put forward by the PAKATAN members who were part of the 9 member commitee to draw the 22 recommendations?
Or are the opposition pact (PAKATAN) trying to put forward another electoral reform proposals with a new tag line BERSIH 3.0?
Or are they trying to stage a media hype to attract the world attention when the 13th GE is around the corner?
PAKATAN and its paramount leader Anwar Ibrahim has failed miserably in his attempt to make the world believe that the Malaysian judiciary system is not just.
Now, he and his associates in BERSIH are trying to stage a drama on streets with BERSIH 3.0 tag line to meet their political agenda.
The RAKYAT must not let the opposition pact to take advantage of PM Najib Government’S leniency .
